Homearama Canceled

If you haven’t already heard, the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati has decided they will cancel Homearama this year to focus on Citirama 2010. According to HBA, the descison to discontinue the event this year was mainly due to the contiued difficulty of attracting buyers in the luxery home market. The HBA has sponsored Homearama for 49 years but will now focus on Citirama which centers around urban living, affordable price points and green building – all items that seem to really resonate with todays’ buyers.

Cincinnati Market Update

According to the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors the December local home sales were up 2.5% from December a year ago. It was the seventh straight month of local increased sales, compared to the same months a year ago.
